A group of Impact Global Health Alliance Global staff and interns are in Liberia to work with the Nehnwaa Project in Ganta. They will be visiting with the communities we serve in partnership with Ganta United Methodist Hospital. Some will be staying just a short time, and the rest will be staying the whole summer, conducting interviews and research, doing field studies, and taking lots of photos and video interviews.
"We're excited to be here. The trip to Liberia was long and tired, but we're grateful to have had a safe journey," said Maria Hernandez, Director of Development. The group is en route to Ganta today. "We're looking forward to meeting the people we work with – the people we serve and those who serve them."
Internet service is not readily available, so we'll hope to hear from our travelers with news from the field soon. Best wishes to everyone in Liberia!
